Come celebrate the launch of LA’s first pierogarnia!!!!
Inspired by the cuisine of her Polish heritage, Sapphic Musk vocalist Sara has studied the old world pierogi recipes of her Polish elders, added some of her own flair and will now introduce Los Angeles to the most delicious plate of pierogi you can get outside of Poland.
Sara and Jen at Book Show have always found a common bond in the crossover foods of their ancestors… as such Jen will be contributing blynai (potato pancakes) compliments of the recipe handed down to her by her Lithuanian grandmother.
Come join us! Plates will be available for a suggested donation.
And that is not all folks…
The evening will also feature the accordion music of Odious Ari!!!
(…and a little “Sapphic” something too)
AND
The Famed PIEROGI OPEN MIC and POETRY SLAM!!!!
An event that until now has only happened in the dark cabarets of Warsaw during the cold war era.
Sign up to perform your Pierogi themed poetry, prose and music!!!
